Products Summary
Most of our products fall into our two main franchises of critical care and cancer. In addition we have other products addressing different therapeutic areas. Our strategy is to use the revenues generated from our marketed products to help fund the advancement of our development pipeline.

We have successfully developed and commercially manufacture two products that are currently sold in the US, CroFab™ [Crotalidae Polyvalent Immune Fab (Ovine)] for minimal to moderate North American crotalid envenomation and DigiFab™ [Digoxin Immune Fab (Ovine)] for life-threatening digoxin intoxication which are distributed by our marketing partner Fougera Inc, a division of Nycomed (previously Altana Inc). DigiFab™ is distributed in most mainland European countries by our licensee, Beacon Pharmaceuticals, and distributed in Germany and the Nordic countries by us.
Additional revenue is generated from:
- CytoFab™ development and commercialisation milestone payments from AstraZeneca
- named patient sales and cost recovery of Voraxaze™, a recombinant enzyme designed to break down methotrexate in cancer patients who are experiencing toxicity, or at risk of toxicity, from this commonly used cancer drug
- named patient sales of ViperaTAb™ (for the treatment of bites from the European Viper) in Scandinavia through Swedish Orphan International AB and the rest of Europe through Protherics
- a BSE test sold by Enfer Scientific Ltd and its distribution partner Abbott Laboratories Inc
We also have a strong pipeline of products in both our critical care and cancer franchises which have the potential to generate significant revenues. Along with developing these products to market, our goal is to develop and attract additional critical care and cancer products for our sales and marketing teams to distribute in the US and Europe.
